Event Planning and Management
Problem
A fortune 500 IT company had the opportunity to participate as a
top sponsor for a large IT focused tradeshow. As a key partner
of the initiating sponsor of the event, the IT company required
support in planning and managing its participation.
Solution
Infusion personnel led and managed all activities, resources,
and personnel through regular team meetings, interactions with
the event committee, and company management. Activities
included:
Negotiating sponsorship levels
Managing overall budget
Scheduling technical and educational sessions
Locating and assigning speakers
Booth design and layout
Ordering, staging, and shipping equipment
Meeting and travel scheduling
Hotel arrangements
Signage, messaging, and imaging
Developing and ordering collateral
Other associated activities
Result
The company commanded a significant presence in the tradeshow
and received an award from the overall sponsor. The booth,
speaking engagements, and other activities were well received
and no significant issues occurred. The company was requested to
participate in future events.
